Safeguarding policy
How we protect children, young people and vulnerable adults in everything we publish and share.
Summary for the website preview. QPI's full, board-approved policy will replace this text.
What we publish
- We only publish photos or stories of identifiable people when we hold documented consent, from a parent or guardian for anyone under 18.
- We never publish a child's full name, school, or home location.
- Names and places in stories may be changed to protect those involved.
Sponsors and supporters
- Sponsors see a first name or group name and a sponsor ID only.
- All messages to young people are reviewed and passed on by QPI staff.
- Direct contact between sponsors and children outside our programmes is not permitted.
Raising a concern
If you are worried about the safety of anyone involved in our work, email admin@quakerpeaceinitiatives.org with "Safeguarding" in the subject line. Concerns go directly to our designated safeguarding lead.
